Pumpkins growing up

After the first 6 weeks of growing, the pumpkins are now showing up. On my 2 plants alone I have 6 showing promise and will be thinning the patch within a few weeks. The heat, 95+ over the weekend, leaves the leaves wilted during the day but rebounding in the late afternoon. More to come…

look for the female’s with the round ball on the stem as these will be your pumpkins.

I have just prunned the masses and am down to one pumkin on each vine. Any other tips for growing big?
